“Christ in you, the hope of glory. We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ.”
God has graciously blessed us with salvation – among other things – so that Christians can be a blessing to others by introducing them to Christ through the gospel. This is how those separated from God are able to see Christ in us, the hope of glory. Yet, it seems too many professing followers of Christ have become content to remain safely tucked in our Christian cocoon, unwilling to labor even just a little for the sake of obedience to the Great Commission. Even worse, far too often, the testimony of own lives not only mutes the message of the cross, it stands in striking opposition to it.
We have chosen “Christ in Us” as the prevailing theme of this year’s conference in hopes the Lord will use the messages preached and the testimonies shared to move us forward in personal holiness and practical obedience for the sake of the gospel. We are praying that the indwelling Christ in our lives would become so evident that the invisible God would make Himself visible to those currently stumbling about in spiritual darkness.
